A prepaid credit card is similar to a bank debit card. In order to use a prepaid credit card you must first load money into the prepaid credit card account. The method used to load a prepaid credit card differs between prepaid credit cards.

Where are prepaid credit cards accepted?
If the prepaid credit card is a Visa, it will be accepted everywhere where Visa is accepted. If the prepaid credit card is a MasterCard, it will be accepted everywhere where MasterCard is accepted.

Why choose a prepaid credit card over a regular credit card?
Most credit cards require the applicant to be 18 years or older while prepaid credit cards are obtainable by people under 18. Prepaid credit cards also allow you to control your spending and don't have the risk of going into debt.
